Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential? Our client school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Learning Mentor to join their team immediately.

Role Overview: As an SEN Learning Mentor, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with SEN/SEMH. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing personalized learning strategies, offering one-on-one mentoring, and working closely with teachers and support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Individual Support: Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to students with SEN/SEMH, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
• Personalized Learning Plans: Develop and implement individualized learning strategies tailored to each student's needs.
• Emotional and Social Support: Offer emotional and social guidance to students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to support student development.
• Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure continued improvement.
• Inclusive Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive school culture where all students feel supported and valued.

Mandatory Requirements:

• The Right to Work in the UK
• An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us
• Two professional child-related references
• An updated CV
