School Caretaker

Temporary Long-Term Position with a possibility it will go Permanent in the near future.

Full Time – 35 hours a week

Enhanced DBS Required

£11 - £14 per hour depending on experience

We are looking for a dedicated School Caretaker to become an essential part of the school team, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our students and staff.

As a School Caretaker, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring our school premises are safe, secure, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive learning environment.

Oversee the security of the school premises, including locking and unlocking facilities as needed. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as minor repairs.

Qualifications and Qualities:

• Health and Safety qualification (desirable).
• Previous caretaking or premises management experience.
• DIY skills and independence in general repairs.
• Physical capability for lifting and carrying.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety and our school's values.
