£19,500 - £23,500/annum

Milestone Education is currently looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in our partnered schools in Birmingham supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

What will you be doing as an SEMH Teaching Assistant?

  • Be a positive role model for pupils and build strong positive relationships
  • Providing support and guidance to pupils supporting their Social, Emotional and Mental health needs
  • Managing behaviour and utilising de-escalation strategies 
  • Working 1:1 with pupils to provide additional support and guidance

What do you need to be an SEMH Teaching Assistant?

  • Be willing and motivated to make a difference in pupils learning and development
  • Experience in positive behaviour management
  • Understanding of supporting Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
  • Experience working with SEND and/or Mental Health care

Hours: 8.30 am – 3.30 pm, Monday – Friday

Salary is based on experience and expertise.

Our partnered school is based in Birmingham and works with children aged 5 to 15 years who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.
