Year 4 Teaching Assistant

Location: South Bristol

Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled teaching assistant to join our year 4 team in a central Bristol school. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and a strong track record of supporting students in their learning and development.

• Minimum rate of pay: £75 per day

Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Provide individual and small group support to students as needed
• Support the implementation of individual education plans for students with special educational needs
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Willing to complete Safeguarding online training
• Complete a face-to-face registration, currently being done remotely on Zoom

Having a current enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service would be advantageous, if not you will be required to pay for a new DBS before being introduced to schools (£45.80).

To Be Eligible For This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
