Job Duties:
  • Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons to students
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physics or related field
  • Experience teaching physics at the secondary level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
  • Degree in Physics or related field
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching physics at the secondary level
  • Demonstrated track record of student achievement
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of physics curriculum and assessment
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Proficient in using educational technology in the classroom
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Physics Education or related field
  • Experience teaching A-level or IB Physics
Working Conditions:
