Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and shaping the future generation? We are seeking a dedicated English teacher to join a vibrant secondary academy located in the heart of Somerset.

Position: English Teacher
Duration: ASAP or for the summer term until the end of the academic year or permanent for the right educator 
Subject Levels: English at KS3 and KS4
Availability: Flexible, both full-time and part-time positions considered

As an English teacher at the recently renovated academy, you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Engage and motivate students in the exploration of literature, language, and critical thinking
  • Foster a love for reading, writing, and communication skills in our learners
  • Deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an enriching and supportive learning environment
  • Support students in their academic progress and personal development.
Requirements for an English Teacher:
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Right to work in the UK 
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for education
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Marking and planning in line with the national curriculum
