The School and Role

ABC Teachers are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join us to work at a vibrant secondary school in the heart of Redditch.

As a Computer Science Teacher at our client Redditch secondary school, you will have the opportunity to ignite students' passion for technology and computer science. You will deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Computer Science curriculum and promote cross-curricular links.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements

The successful Computer Teacher will have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialism in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Computer Science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
