Job Duties:
  • Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and educational activities
  • Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Preparing and organising educational materials and resources
  • Supporting the social and emotional development of the children 
Required Qualifications:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Understanding of child safeguarding policies and procedures
Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working with Primary aged pupils preferred

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of educational practises and principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
  • Organisational and time management skills
Working Conditions:
  • Work is primarily conducted in a classroom setting
  • May involve standing for extended periods and some lifting of educational materials
  • Work hours are typically during school hours, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
