Supply Desk are seeking to recruit a passionate teacher of Science who will be an excellent role model with a desire to share this with pupils and staff. This is an excellent opportunity to for a Science teacher to start teaching pupils and help them develop their knowledge.

The role/ Responsibilities:

• Implement curriculum-aligned science lessons that integrate real-world applications and hands-on activities to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Create a welcoming and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to ask questions, explore scientific concepts independently, and strive for academic excellence.
• Employ differentiated instruction strategies, such as visual aids, group work, and technology-based tools, to address diverse learning styles and maximize student comprehension.
• Use formative and summative assessments to evaluate student performance and understanding regularly, providing constructive feedback to guide student growth and development.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to develop cross-disciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects, fostering holistic learning experiences for students.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated on advancements in science education methodologies.

Ideal Candidate:

• Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
• Prior experience of working in a school or teaching science
• Has a strong knowledge of the Science curriculum
• Able to communicate with pupils in an effective way
• Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
• Has a passionate for teaching science
• Able to commute to High Wycombe
