Salary – £26,948 – £38,174 plus possible TLR (Depending on experience)

About the role:

The role will be full time covering Chemistry lessons in Key Stage 3, 4 and Key Stage 5. The role will be a contract to permanent arrangement for the right candidate. The role will be teaching all elements of chemistry with time allowed for planning and marking. The school offers great chances for promotion and consistently offers extra training and progression. The school are looking for someone with excellent subject knowledge in Chemistry, good classroom management and a really positive approach to teaching and building relationships. The school will strongly consider ECTs for this position that demonstrate all the required skills and characteristics. 

The ideal candidate will:

• Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
• Be a committed team player
• Proven track record of raising attainment
• Be confident and adaptable to different environments
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Be able to deliver chemistry lessons in a fun and engaging way that students can relate to
• Have either ECT or QTS status
