The Role:
As an English Teacher at an SEN school, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality English education tailored to meet the individual needs of our students. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support students in developing their literacy skills, communication abilities, and confidence in English.
• Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress, set achievable targets, and implement personalized learning plans.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external professionals to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on individualized support strategies.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
• Experience teaching English to students with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
• A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to supporting the diverse needs of students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, parents, and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude towards overcoming challenges in a dynamic educational setting.
