SEN Teaching Assistant - Sheffield
Location: Within 10 miles of S9, Sheffield
Salary: £95 - £105 per day
Contract: Full Time, ASAP Start
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools within 10 miles of S9, Sheffield. This role involves providing support to students with special educational needs to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist SEN students in their learning activities.
- Support the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience working with SEN students is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
Note: Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, will be required for successful applicants.
