The Headteacher of an 'Outstanding' All-Through School in the heart of Westminster are keen to hire a Teacher of Biology + TLRs. They are looking to interview experienced Teachers of Biology and ambitious Biology ECTs immediately - this is a Permanent, Full-Time position starting in September 2024.

This All-Through School has over 2,000 pupils from EYFS to KS5 and is an Approved Training School for the Borough. The school and staff hold an impressive reputation across the local community and the Executive Headteacher has been recognised for consistently bettering the school.

Within the Teacher of Biology + TLRs role, there are plenty of opportunities for training and CPD, as well as an abundance of additional support of staff and pupils alike. There are also additional TLRs available, including Head of Department, Lead Practitioner and Key Stage Co-ordinator.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Teacher of Biology + TLRs
• Working alongside a fantastic team of Biology Teachers / Biology ECTs to inspire the next generation
• Open to experienced Teachers of Biology / Biology ECTs
• Teaching students across the Secondary School (KS3 - KS5)
• Based in the Borough of Westminster
• MPS1 - UPS3 (£36,745 - £56,959 + TLRs - amount dependent on experience)
• TLRs available: Head of Department, Lead Practitioner, Key Stage Co-ordinator

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS
• Strong academics across the board (GCSEs, A-Levels and Degree)
• Must be willing to listen to feedback and work as a team
• An individual with a passion for Biology and teaching
