The School and the Role

Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of a successful Primary School in Fazakerley, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proative Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a child in Reception, who has complex needs.  As their designated Teaching Assistant, it will be your responsibility to support the child on a one-one basis, working full-time Monday to Friday.  You will have access to support and training from school, as well as impressive school resources.  In-line with the child's EHCP, you'll play a pivotal role in removing the students' barriers to learning and supporting them to achieve their full potential.  You will be working closely with the SENDCo and outside agencies to enable the student to progress through the curriculum, so strong communication skills will be essential to the role.  This role will be starting after the May half-term, and will continue up to July 2025, potentially becoming permanent for the right person.

The school has been at the centre of the local community for many years and pride themselves on firmly holding the pupils’ best interests at the heart of everything that they do.  The school's aim is to provide high quality learning in an inclusive, nurturing environment for all of their pupils.  At the end of their learning journey, they want their pupils to be well rounded individuals who can thrive in the next stage of their education.
