📍 Location: Thornton Heath
🕰️ Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
🔍 Placement: Temporary (potential for permanent)
💰 Daily Rate: Paid according to your teaching scale
📝 Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Responsibilities:
🎓 Deliver top-notch teaching in IT to students aged 14-19 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, and other behavioural difficulties.
📚 Develop and implement engaging IT curriculum tailored to the diverse learning needs of students.
📊 Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support as needed.
🤝 Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Skills Required:
🎓 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.
💼 Extensive experience in teaching IT, preferably in a similar SEN setting.
📋 Strong organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage classroom activities and resources.
🔄 Adaptability and flexibility to meet the varying needs of students and address challenges effectively.
💬 Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
💖 A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of young people.
