This position is available immediately, and it offers full-time, long-term employment until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dedicated teaching staff in delivering exceptional education to our students. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting teachers in planning and implementing engaging and effective lesson activities.
  2. Providing individualised support to students with different learning needs.
  3. Supervising and supporting students during classwork, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  4. Encouraging student participation and engagement in class discussions and activities.
  5. Assisting in the assessment and tracking of student progress, maintaining accurate records.
  6. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the overall well-being and academic development of students.
  7. Participating in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  1. Previous child-based experience, such as tutoring, mentoring, or working in a school setting.
  2. Possession of an up-to-date DBS check on the update service.
  3. A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  5. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  6. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school.
  7. A commitment to promoting an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
