The School and Role

ABC Teachers are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team and make a difference in the lives of secondary school students in Marston Green. The school are looking for someone enthusiastic to take on the school values and join their friendly team. They are part of a supportive Trust who offer on-going support and professional development opportunities. The successful person will be subject to a temp to permanent opportunity. There are nearby public transport links and on-site parking.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum.
• Use innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students to excel in Science.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment and contribute to the school community.

Requirements

The successful Science Teacher will have;

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Science Education.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Science.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
