Prospero Teaching are looking for a qualified Design and Technology Teacher to join a client school in Bury from September until Christmas on a full time basis. This role is due to an internal promotion and retirement and could become permanent in January 2025.

About the successful D&T Teacher:

Previous experience teaching D&T to KS3 & 4 students in the UK.
Hold a relevant related degree.
Hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent.
You will have excellent classroom and behaviour management.
You will be proactive and innovative with the ability to engage students in different ways.
Safeguarding training issued in the last 12 months (training can be provided)
Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (training can be provided)
FGM training issued in the last 3 years (training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide a minimum of two professional references
