At Teaching Personnel, we work in partnership with multiple Primary schools in Kirkby, who actively need enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers who can work in school on a day-to-day basis to cover any absences in school. Working hours vary from day to day, however the usual start times are from 8:30am until 3:30pm. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects and year groups, following school policies and schemes of work.

- Managing classroom behaviour, ensuring a calm and focused environment conducive to learning.

- Adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment.

- Building positive relationships with students, promoting engagement, and fostering a love for learning.

- Collaborating with school staff to ensure smooth transitions for both students and colleagues.

- Following school policies and procedures, including marking and assessing student work.

What we are looking for in you:

-          Enthusiastic about education and teaching.

-          Availability ASAP or in September 2024.

-          Impressive knowledge of the national curriculum.

-          Experience working as a Teacher in the UK or overseas.

-          Early Careers Teachers (ECT) and retired Teachers are welcome to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
