TeacherActive are looking for an English and Media Teacher to work with an all-girls school based in north Kent. This role is to start from September 2024 and both permanent or temporary candidates would be considered.  

Key Responsibilities  

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that foster a love for English language and literature.  

•  Guide students through the exploration of various media forms, from film to digital platforms.  

•  Cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.  

• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them grow as writers, communicators, and critical thinkers.  

• Inspire a passion for lifelong learning and creativity in English and Media studies. 

Requirements:  

• Qualified teacher status with expertise in English and Media studies.  

•  Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching.  

• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.  

•  Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
