Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, ensuring they have access to a tailored and inclusive education.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create and implement individualised education plans for students with diverse needs.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages the social and emotional development of all students.
  • Monitor and record progress, adapting strategies to meet the evolving needs of each student.
  • Act as a liaison between parents, teachers, and other support staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements for our SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of students with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
