Job Title: Support SEN Worker

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you looking for a rewarding career opportunity in a supportive and inclusive environment? If so, we have the perfect role for you as a Support Worker at our SEN schools in Braintree.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to students with SEN, enabling them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and independence.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in educational activities.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEN, is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
