This role requires a Science Teacher with good classroom management skills and ideally, some experience working with children with SEMH needs.
As a Science Teacher your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality science lessons as a Science Teacher to students at Key Stage 4.
- Making learning fun for students and inspiring a love for all things Science.
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans as a Science Teacher that cater to students' individual needs.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Providing one-on-one and small group support as a Science Teacher to students to enhance their understanding of scientific concepts.
- Monitoring student progress, setting goals, and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborating with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant subject specialism as a Science Teacher.
- Experience teaching science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 as a Science Teacher.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science as a Science Teacher.
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs and inspire an interest in science through theory and practical lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A supportive and collaborative work environment as a Science Teacher.
