- Support teachers and learning support staff in the identification of the most effective teaching approaches for pupils with SEND
- Monitor teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of pupils with SEND
- Identify and teach study skills that will develop pupils' ability to work independently.
- Liaise with other schools to ensure continuity of support and learning when transferring pupils with SEND.
- Experience working with students with SEN.
- Strong understanding of different SEN conditions, learning styles, and strategies for differentiation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Passion, empathy, and dedication to making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.

Core hours - 08:30-15.30 - Monday-Thursday
Some preparation and role-critical tasks will be required to be completed outside these hours
Salary - MPR-UPR (£30,000-£46,525p/a)
