Are you an accredited Science teacher with hands-on experience with either KS3, KS4 pupils?

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons.
  • Assessing pupil's progress and achievements.
  • Conduct formative and summative assessments, including tests, quizzes, practical experiments, projects, and coursework.
  • Organising and conducting practical experiments and investigations in the laboratory.
  • Establishing and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to learning.
  • Organising and supervising extracurricular activities related to science education, such as science clubs, field trips, science fairs

Preferred skills:

  • Clear communication is essential for interacting with pupils, teachers etc
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Being able to troubleshoot issues that arise in the classroom.
  • Creatively engaging activities and materials to support pupil learning.

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one ( we can help with this ) .
  • Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills.
