Responsibilities:

As a teaching assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Individualised Support: Offer 1:1 or group support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet a range of learning styles and abilities.

Resource Preparation: Collaborate with teachers to prepare and organise materials, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.

Inclusive Education: Promote positive social interactions, understanding, and respect among students with diverse abilities.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, working closely with the teaching team to provide full assessments and feedback.

Classroom Assistance: Work collectively with teaching staff to assist with classroom activities, ensuring a nurturing and supportive environment.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• Enhanced DBS Check
• Relevant Qualifications: Possess relevant teaching or education qualifications, or experience within a school setting.
• Empathy and Patience: Demonstrate a compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to support students with diverse learning needs.

Additional Details:

Hours: This is a part-time position

Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Location: Across the Oxfordshire Area
