Our SEN Schools across Birmingham are looking for Special Educational Needs Teachers to help support pupils across all ages either on a flexible basis, or long term. (EY up to KS5 *you can pick which)

We have a mixture of flexible day cover, short term and long term assignments available .

The ideal SEN Teacher for this role should:

• Have experience teaching children with SEN (required)
• Have training or experience in Makaton, PECS and visual aids (not essential but advantageous)
• Be flexible, proactive and patient
• Be able to communicate effectively within a team
• DBS on update service or willingness to apply for one

Responsibilities:

• Planning of exciting and creative lessons and activities for students
• Communicating with parents and families and using this to guide the learning of students
• Responsible for support staff within the classroom
• Working with pupils with complex and additional needs
