Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant educational community in Wolverhampton. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students, working closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assist with the implementation of individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
  • Support students in their academic and personal development, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
  • Help to maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment, ensuring the well-being of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children or young people, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A patient and compassionate approach to working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently when required.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity within the classroom and the wider school community.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (not necessary but desirable).
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Safeguarding training.
