Education Personnel are looking for a Drama Teacher that is able to teach Drama 3-5 days a week. The role is for an immediate start with a possibility of extension or a permanent position. This is an ideal position for all Drama Teachers. Drama teachers willing to accept M1-UPS1 pay may all apply.

General duties of the role will be:

  • Planning and Delivering Engaging Lessons: Creating dynamic and interactive drama lessons that stimulate students' creativity and passion for the performing arts.
  • Directing and Producing School Productions: Overseeing rehearsals and directing school plays, musicals, and other theatrical productions, ensuring high standards of performance and production value.
  • Facilitating Student Participation: Encouraging active participation and collaboration among students in drama activities, including improvisation, script reading, and character development exercises.
  • Assessing Student Progress: Evaluating student performance and progress through ongoing assessment, providing constructive feedback to support their development as actors and performers.
  • Organizing Extracurricular Activities: Coordinating drama clubs, workshops, and extracurricular events to provide students with opportunities for further exploration and development in the performing art
  • Safeguarding and pastoral support

In order to qualify for the role, you must have a teaching qualification and be passionate about your subject.
