Location: Headingley, Leeds

Hours: 4 or 5 days per week

Training: Full training and professional development provided

My clients are a warm and welcoming nursery nestled in the heart of Headingley, committed to providing exceptional care and education to young children. Our vibrant setting fosters a supportive 'family feel' atmosphere where every team member plays a vital role in creating a nurturing environment for our children to thrive.

Role Overview: As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about early childhood education and can bring new, adventurous ideas to our already thriving nursery. You will have the opportunity to make positive changes and contribute to the continuous improvement of our nursery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
  • Planning and delivering engaging activities that support children's learning and development
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Observing and assessing children's progress and development
  • Collaborating with the team to implement new ideas and initiatives to enhance the nursery experience

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5 years
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to childcare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and participate in continuous professional development
